Shenzhen Longtian Cultural & Creative Co., Ltd. is a Shenzhen cultural and creative products company that designs and manufactures IP figurines for museums, scenic attractions, enterprises and universities. When a museum, attraction or brand creates a mascot or IP character, a figurine turns it into a physical collectible that can anchor a whole product line of keychains, magnets and pins. We handle the design proof, sampling and production, then pack for export.
Crafts and processes
- 3D modelling from character sketches
- PVC, vinyl and soft-rubber figures
- Polyresin figures with hand painting
- Blind-box series and display bases
- Spin-off products from the same character
An IP figurine starts with turnaround drawings: front, side and back views of the character with colour callouts. Our designers build a 3D digital model and share renders for approval, then a prototype is printed or sculpted so that proportions, pose and details can be checked in hand. Only after this stage are production molds made, because changes after tooling are costly.
PVC and vinyl figures are produced by injection or rotational molding, assembled and painted with spray masks and pad printing for consistent faces. Polyresin figures are cast in silicone molds from the master and painted by hand, giving rich detail for collector pieces. Bases, accessories and display boxes are developed alongside. Once the character model exists, it can be reused for keychains, magnets and pins so that the whole product line stays visually consistent.
Materials
- PVC and vinyl: durable, toy-like, suits larger runs
- Polyresin: detailed, hand painted, collector feel
- Soft rubber: small characters and charms
- ABS parts: bases and accessories
- Paints: spray, pad printing and hand painting
- Packaging: blind boxes, window boxes, display bases
PVC and vinyl are chosen for families and blind-box series; resin is chosen when detail and a sculptural look matter more than impact resistance.
Sizes
- Blind-box figures are commonly around 50–80 mm tall
- Desk and display figures are often 100–200 mm
- Larger statement pieces are quoted individually
- Size is chosen with the level of facial and costume detail
Smaller figures simplify details; we flag features that will not hold at the chosen size during 3D review.
Packaging
- Blind boxes with outer display case
- Window boxes
- Rigid collector boxes with insert
- Polybag for spin-off items
- Export cartons with protective inserts
Blind-box packaging needs a printed checklist of the series so buyers know what they are collecting.
Customization options
- Height, pose and paint details
- Several characters or costumes in one series
- Blind-box or window-box packaging
- Matching keychains, magnets and pins
Who orders them and why
- Museums: collectable figures based on artifacts or museum mascots.
- Attractions: mascot figures for visitor centres and gift shops.
- Enterprises: brand mascot figures for marketing and partners.
- Universities: school mascot figures for alumni and campus stores.
Design tips
Character design for a figurine is different from character design for a flat illustration. Proportions that look charming on paper can become unstable in three dimensions: oversized heads may need a wider base, thin limbs may need support and floating accessories need connection points. During 3D modelling we flag these issues early and suggest small changes that keep the character recognisable while making it producible.
Paint complexity drives cost and consistency. Each extra colour on a PVC figure usually means another spray mask or printing step, so we help you decide where detail matters most, typically the face and a signature costume element, and where simpler colour blocks will do. For resin collector pieces, hand painting allows more nuance, but the approved sample becomes the reference that painters follow.
A figurine is often the anchor of a wider product family. Once the 3D model is approved, it can be adapted into keychains, magnets, pins and stationery, which keeps the line consistent and saves design time. Plan the family from the start: decide which poses and expressions will be used for spin-offs, and which items will be sold together.
Packaging should support the story. Window boxes show the figure clearly; blind boxes create a collecting experience but need a printed checklist of the series and a clear statement of how many designs exist. Include the character's name and a short background on the box so that visitors who meet the character at your venue remember it at home. For any market where the figure may be bought for children, confirm age grading and labelling requirements with your compliance team before artwork is finalised.

FAQ
Can you create a 3D model from a 2D character drawing?
Yes, our design team builds a 3D model from your drawings and shares views for approval before tooling.
Which material should we choose: PVC or resin?
PVC and vinyl suit larger runs and toy-like figures; resin suits detailed, hand-painted collectibles. We can quote both.
Can you make a blind-box series?
Yes, several characters with blind-box packaging can be produced as one series.
Do we own the character design?
You keep the rights to your IP; we only produce for you under your authorisation.
Can the same character be used on other products?
Yes, we can extend the character into keychains, magnets, pins and stationery so the line looks consistent.
How many rounds of 3D revision are included?
We revise the model until you approve it; major redesigns may change the quote, which we tell you first.
Can you keep our IP confidential?
Yes, an NDA is available on request and we produce only under your authorisation.
What is the MOQ for figurines?
Our MOQ starts from 50 pcs; for PVC tooling the economical quantity may be higher, which we explain in the quote.
How long does development take?
Modelling and prototyping come before sampling; we give a timeline per project, then mass production is usually about 15–25 days after sample approval.
Can you add safety labelling for toys?
Requirements vary by market and age group; tell us the market so we can discuss what testing and labels your compliance team needs.
