Shenzhen Longtian Cultural & Creative Co., Ltd. is a Shenzhen cultural and creative products company that designs and manufactures fridge magnets for museums, scenic attractions, enterprises and universities. Souvenir magnets are often the first item a visitor picks up in a museum shop or scenic-area store, because they are light, affordable to carry home and easy to give away. We handle the design proof, sampling and production, then pack for export.
Crafts and processes
- Zinc-alloy die-casting with 3D relief for landmark and artifact shapes
- Stamped metal with soft-enamel or printed colour fills
- Polyresin (resin) casting with hand painting for sculpted motifs
- Wooden and laser-cut layered magnets
- Soft PVC (soft rubber) magnets for cartoon and IP characters
Most souvenir magnets start as a flat piece of artwork that has to be translated into height, texture and colour. For die-cast zinc alloy, a steel mold is engraved from the approved proof, molten alloy is pressed into it, and the raw casting is trimmed, polished, plated and then coloured by hand or by machine. This route gives crisp relief on rooftops, bronze patterns or calligraphy, and it suits shops that want a heavier piece with a premium hand feel.
Polyresin magnets are cast in silicone molds taken from a sculpted master. Because resin picks up very fine surface detail, it is a good match for statues, ceramics and animal figures, and each piece can be hand painted in many colours. Soft PVC magnets are injected into a metal mold in colour layers, so they stay bright, flexible and safe to drop, which is useful for mascots aimed at families. Printed magnets on acrylic, wood or tinplate skip sculpting entirely and reproduce paintings or photographs edge to edge; they are the fastest way to turn a large archive of images into a range.
Materials
- Zinc alloy: die-cast, takes 2D or 3D relief, plating and enamel colour
- Iron or brass sheet: stamped, good for flatter designs with enamel fill
- Polyresin: cast and hand painted, for sculpted shapes
- Soft PVC: flexible, bright solid colours, child-friendly
- Wood, acrylic and tinplate: printed or laser cut, low tooling
- Magnet backs: ferrite discs or flexible magnetic sheet, sized to the item weight
Choosing the material is mainly a trade-off between the look you want, the retail price you are aiming for and how many designs share one order. Metal feels substantial and suits mid-range pricing; resin offers the most sculptural detail; PVC and printed materials keep tooling simple when a series has many designs.
Sizes
- Pocket souvenirs are commonly in the 40–60 mm range on the longest side
- Feature or landmark magnets are often 60–90 mm
- Panoramic or skyline pieces can be wider; any outline is cut to your artwork
- Thickness is set by the process: printed pieces stay thin, die-cast and resin relief pieces are deeper
These ranges are general guidance used across the souvenir trade, not limits. We size each design against the artwork detail that must stay legible and against the weight the magnet has to hold.
Packaging
- Individual OPP bag with or without a header card
- Printed backing card with hang hole for peg displays
- Kraft or printed paper box for single premium pieces
- Window gift box for sets of three to six designs
- Export cartons with inner dividers to protect plating and paint
Retail packaging often decides whether a magnet sells at the counter. A backing card can carry the story of the object behind the design, a barcode area and your shop branding.
Customization options
- Outline shape cut to your artwork
- Plating colours such as gold, silver, antique bronze or black nickel
- Epoxy dome, glitter or printed details
- Backing card, OPP bag or gift box with your branding

FAQ
Which material is best for a museum fridge magnet?
Die-cast metal suits detailed relief and a premium feel; resin suits sculpted, hand-painted shapes; soft PVC suits cartoon mascots. Send your artwork and target retail price and we will suggest one.
Can you make a magnet from a photo of an artifact?
Yes. Our design team can redraw a photo or line drawing into production artwork and send a proof before any mold is made.
Can one order include several designs?
Yes, a souvenir series can mix several designs; each new shape needs its own mold, which is quoted per design.
How strong is the magnet on the back?
We fit the magnet size to the item weight so heavier metal pieces still hold on a fridge door; tell us if you need a stronger magnet.
Do you supply retail packaging?
Yes, backing cards, OPP bags and printed boxes can be quoted together with the magnets.
Can you match the colours of an original painting?
We work from Pantone references or a colour-checked image and confirm colours on the physical sample before bulk production.
Will plating or paint chip in transit?
Pieces are packed individually and separated in cartons; plated and painted surfaces are inspected before packing.
Can we order a mixed series with a small quantity per design?
Yes. Our MOQ starts from 50 pcs; for a multi-design series we discuss the split per design when quoting.
Do magnets need special labelling for children?
Labelling rules differ by market. Tell us the destination and intended age group and we will advise on packaging text and small-part warnings for you to confirm with your compliance team.
Can you reorder the same design later?
Yes, approved artwork and molds are kept on file so repeat orders follow the same sample standard.
